The 1670 Collection 50ml Ink Bottle - Fuchsia de Magellan features gold sparkles with sheen and a luxurious glass bottle with wax caps and seals. It was created in 2010 to honor Herbin's 340th anniversary, and is part of two lines - 1670 to mark founding and 1798 for Paris-based ink production. Jacques Herbin, a French sailor, founded J. Herbin in 1670. He used his voyage-acquired knowledge to become a master wax maker, later venturing into ink and stationery.
