The production of the Souverän sleeve involves a complex process that begins with the creation of a unique striped material made from a specially developed cotton formula by Pelikan. This material takes months to create, and once completed, it is used to craft the characteristic double rings on the pen's cap and barrel with utmost precision. A tailor-made plating is then curved and cut into a contour using a natural diamond, before the pen is polished to a brilliant luster.

The M600 fountain pen features a piston filling mechanism and a 14kt bi-color gold nib with gold trim, available in EF, F, M, or B sizes.
